Counting Our Lucky Stars 150 150 DAY Vision Marketing

Stephen Hawking was a brilliant person who comes along once in a lifetime.
We are counting our lucky stars to have had Stephen to look up to. He truly showed us a whole new way the universe functions and changed the way we think. Today, we celebrate the life of the brilliant pioneer of physics and cosmology. The Guardian has perfectly summarized our heartfelt feelings by stating, “Science’s brightest star has died.”

Stephen Hawking was born on January 8, 1942 in Oxford, England.
No one knew the man he would become would someday change history and the world we knew, forever. He was a man of many talents. The Accomplishments acknowledges his most talented areas by saying, “He was a theoretical physicist, cosmologist and author.” We all came to know his greatest accomplishments, here a few to name:

1.  Hawking’s found evidence that the Big Bang actually happened by using Einstein’s theory of general relativity.
2. He proved that black holes exist by using mathematics and studied their behaviors.
3. Hawking’s discovered how galaxies are formed.
4. He received multiple awards, two most well-known are the Gold Medal of the RAS (Royal Astronomical Society) and the Presidential Medal of Freedom

It is clear that Stephen Hawking’s was a genius to say the least.
What made him even stand out more as a star is how he could still relate to the average joe by being able to explain his findings in layman’s terms and had a sharp sense of humor.

His best-selling book “A Brief History of Time” spoke to the average joe. According to Four Minute Books he was able to provide 3 basic ideas:

1. “Theories can never be proven.”
2. “Time is not fixed, due to the speed of light.”
3. “There are 3 reasons why time can likely only move forward.”

He was wise beyond his years and wanted to share his knowledge with the world and make it a better place.

Hawking’s was the total intellectual package and is a hero to the team at DAY Vision.

Stephen Hawking inspires us constantly challenge ourselves and to think outside of the box. Do something that has never been done. He inspires us to be visionaries and to go hand in hand to be a well-rounded person. We not only want to take on new challenges and ideas here at DAY but we also cherish building relationships with our clients and truly enjoy the process step by step.

One of his most memorable, and one of our personal favorite quotes was, “Remember to look up at the starts and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at it. It matters that you don’t give up.”

Today we honor science’s brightest star and thank him for all that you have taught us. Thank you, Stephen Hawking.
