Stephen Hawking was a brilliant person who comes along once in a lifetime.
We are counting our lucky stars to have had Stephen to look up to. He truly showed us a whole new way the universe functions and changed the way we think. Today, we celebrate the life of the brilliant pioneer of physics and cosmology. The Guardian has perfectly summarized our heartfelt feelings by stating, “Science’s brightest star has died.”
Stephen Hawking was born on January 8, 1942 in Oxford, England.
No one knew the man he would become would someday change history and the world we knew, forever. He was a man of many talents. The Accomplishments acknowledges his most talented areas by saying, “He was a theoretical physicist, cosmologist and author.” We all came to know his greatest accomplishments, here a few to name:
It is clear that Stephen Hawking’s was a genius to say the least.
What made him even stand out more as a star is how he could still relate to the average joe by being able to explain his findings in layman’s terms and had a sharp sense of humor.
His best-selling book “A Brief History of Time” spoke to the average joe. According to Four Minute Books he was able to provide 3 basic ideas:
1. “Theories can never be proven.”
2. “Time is not fixed, due to the speed of light.”
3. “There are 3 reasons why time can likely only move forward.”
He was wise beyond his years and wanted to share his knowledge with the world and make it a better place.
Hawking’s was the total intellectual package and is a hero to the team at DAY Vision.
Stephen Hawking inspires us constantly challenge ourselves and to think outside of the box. Do something that has never been done. He inspires us to be visionaries and to go hand in hand to be a well-rounded person.
