This past weekend, Truespa Skin Care Center donated event space to local vendors.
To celebrate their accomplished 10 years of success, Truespa held an anniversary event at their newly opened Palmerton location. They decided to recognize other small business’s and vendors in the area and welcomed a handful of vendors to display their products at the event.
Our very own visual designer, Sarah Karess, was chosen as one of the guest vendors to participate.
While Sarah’s career focuses on graphic and web design here at DAY Vision, her hobbies include highly detailed illustration and photography. Sarah was able to display and sell her artwork at the anniversary event thanks to the kind owners of Truespa.
Why are small businesses important?
“According to Entrepreneur Magazine there are between 25 million and 27 million small businesses in the U.S. that account for 60 to 80 percent of all U.S. jobs. And, a recent study by Paychex says that small businesses produce 13 times more patents that larger firms.” Source
Now is the time to embrace small businesses, such as the above, for dedicating their time, money and talents to making our economy stronger and more resilient. We congratulate Truespa on their 10 year accomplishment and are happy to see our visual designer Sarah Karess promoting artwork in the community!
