A Lehigh Valley firm with a strong connection to entrepreneurs is giving away a free Website to a lucky small business owner.
For DAY Vision Marketing, Friday September 14 was a major holiday. It marked the return of the hit ABC show Shark Tank, where entrepreneurs pitch their ideas, products and businesses to savvy investors like Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and FUBU founder Daymond Johns. The Allentown firm has ties to several past contestants on the show, including the Barbara Corcoran-funded success story Daisy Cakes. To celebrate the success of clients like Daisy Cakes, and the dreams of entrepreneurs everywhere, DAY Vision made the bold decision to give away one of their websites built on their proprietary content management system.
The sweepstakes, which can be entered by anyone looking for a new website at www.dayvision.com/sharktank, is larger than most industry promotions. Website design firms are often unwilling to give away sites like the one DAY Vision is offering because they can carry values in the thousands of dollars.
“We knew we wanted to do something big,” said Danny Youssef, owner and founder of DAY Vision. “So we sat down and said, ‘why don’t we offer a chance to all of those businesses who don’t have a shark investing with them?’ The right website can be a huge engine for a business’ growth.”
Daisy Cakes’ success was featured before the Shark Tank premiere on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer, as an American-made and –owned business now clearing more than $300,000 annually in sales through their DAY Vision eCommerce site.
The contest is open until Monday, October 1, and all entrepreneurs at any stage are eligible to win, whether they have an existing site or not. The winner will be announced Friday, October 5.
